I love attending a theme wedding. They can be so much fun. Last weekend I went to a fantastic wedding and reception. It was a country western themed ceremony.
The ceremony took place in a small country church. The church was beautifully decorated with satin ribbon and bows, flowers and candles. With the flowered hair pieces and the lovely baby blue dresses the bridesmaids and flower girl looked spectacular. The tuxes with the white boutonnieres in the lapels made the groomsmen and the little ring boy looked quite handsome. But nothing could compare to the elegance of the bride and groom. They were a picure perfect couple. A horse drawn buggy awaited to take the bride and groom to the reception.
The couple had purchased a nice little ranch outside of town and that’s where they decided to have their reception. This was a prime piece of property, with a nice house, a barn and two acres of land. I would have loved to have started my married life out in a place like this.
You could tell at one glance how hard she worked at setting this reception in motion. It was absolutely perfect. Wild flowers centered on each table really gave it that down home look. She did a fantastic job, not just with the décor, but also the themed favors. There were strings of white christmas lights all around the picnic tables, with a few old fashioned lanterns here and there. With the décor consisting of hay bales and corn stalks on the barn doors, this really gave the perfect appearance of a country reception. They made sure there were plenty of things the kids would enjoy as well as the adults. Some of the kids were bobbing for apples while others were into a wild game of horse shoes, and still others were trying their hand at line dancing. It was great fun for everyone.
The wedding cake was spectacular and the wedding topper had us all in stitches. It was the perfect novelty topper. The western themed champagne flutes were really unique. And she made place card holders out of these little cowboy hats. I thought that was very creative.
There were so many delicious dishes served at the reception. They grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, mostly for the kids, and steaks, ribs, and chicken for the adults, with choice of salads and vegetables. It was one heck of a cookout. It was a great reception, plenty to eat, great tunes to dance to and games to keep the kids happy for hours. It was a great country western themed reception.
Another fun reception is a beach party reception. There is nothing more beautiful than a beach wedding ceremony. The sun setting in the water makes a very romantic scene. The warm breeze and the sound of the waves simply adds to the ambiance of the ceremony. If I ever get married, I think this is the type of ceremony and reception I would want to have.
The bridesmaids looke so nice in their linen summer dresses and the groomsmen were quite handsome in their drawstring pants and linen shirts. The bride wore a beautiful crepe dress that seemed to match the blue of the ocean, and the groom looked so handsome in his white linen beach attire. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect ceremony than this wonderful dream wedding.
The reception was something special too. All the tables were decorated with the beach theme in mind. She had a wonderful idea for centerpieces, with seashells, starfish and orchids surrounding two large white candles in a tray of sand. Each and every guest had adorable little seashell place card holders, and champagne glasses with beach themed decorations on the stems.
She did a marvelous job decorating in a beach motif, from her wedding cake topper to the lovely theme wedding favors that I was infatuated with. This was one of the most memorable weddings I’ve ever attended.

They were such a lovely couple. After the ceremony the bride and groom left the church in a horse drawn buggy.
Since they chose a ranch to buy as their first home, they thought that would be the perfect place to hold the reception. It was a lovely home with a couple of acres and a barn for their horses they planned on having. I would have loved to have started my married life out in a place like this.

From the country décor to the theme wedding favors, everything was perfection. White christmas lights mixed in with a few lanterns completely encircled the picnic tables. The corn stalks and bales of hay really made this the perfect picture of a down home reception. They made sure there were plenty of things the kids would enjoy as well as the adults. My husband and I did a little dancing while some played horse shoes or gave apple bobbing a try. Everyone was having the time of their lives.
The wedding cake was spectacular and the wedding topper had us all in stitches. It was the perfect themed cake topper. They even had country themed champagne flutes for the bridal toast. And she made place card holders out of these little cowboy hats. Everyone thought they were so cute.
There was plenty of delicious foods for everyone at the party. Since they did a lot of grilling, we had our choice of steaks, ribs, and chicken, plus all kinds of salads and vegetables. It was one heck of a cookout. Lots of music, dancing, games and food to last all evening. It was a great country western themed reception.
Another fun reception is a beach party reception. A beach wedding ceremony is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. You can feel the romance in the air as the sun sets on the horizon. With the feel of warm breezes and the sounds of the water, you can feel the romance in the air. I plan on having a beach wedding and reception too, one day.
It was such a relaxed ceremony, with all wedding party and beautiful summer dresses and beach wear. The centerpieces were little trays filled with sand and two large pillar candles with seashells, starfish and orchids all around them. She had the most adorable sea shell place card holders and beautiful beach themed champagne glasses on all her tables.

After it was decided that we were going to have a beach wedding, I went shopping for accessories and supplies with a beach theme in mind. First things first, I bought our beach themed wedding invitations. Since I had a couple of invitations I had to do over again, I was really glad I bought extra. With the invitations all done and on their way to our prospective guests, I could move on to picking out the beach wedding dress I wanted for our ceremony. I looked at several dresses and gorgeous full length gowns, but really couldn’t make up my mind. The full length bridal gowns were so beautiful, but I was afraid they may be too uncomfortable for a beach wedding. I picked out a gorgeous spaghetti strapped dress made of satin and lace with beautiful little beads scattered around it, in a knee length.

The bridesmaids wore lovely little linen halter beach dresses with a crocheted bodice covering. My fiance’s wedding attire consisted of a blue shirt and white pants made of linen, and his groomsmen were also dressed in linen, with white shirts and sandy colored pants. The little sundress our flower girl wore looked so adorable on her and our ring boy looked so cute in his little khaki shorts and white shirt. All of the wedding party looked great in their wedding attire and the flower arrangements for our bouquets were the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen.

With all the pictures I wanted taken of our wedding ceremony and reception, maybe I should have bought two leather wedding albums. I want pictures of everything and everyone at our wedding, all the gorgeous decorations, and our lovely reception. I was sure to let the photographer know I wanted plenty of photos of our vow exchange under our satin canopy and lovely flowered arch. When the ceremony was over, my new husband and I went to our hotel room to change into some more comfortable beach outfits. In fact a few of the bridesmaids and groomsmen also left to change, while others just wore swim suits under their wedding attire. The guests were informed on the invitations to wear casual clothing.

Our reception was such a big success, and everyone complimented us on our gorgeous wedding accessories and how lovely all of our tables were. I bought everything for our tables at the same place I bought our lovely beach themed wedding album. I found the cutest little beach chairs as place card holders that they can use for their favorite little photo later. The guests seemed to like them, and I thought they were just adorable. They also had beach wedding favors that I just had to have for our guests. I chose adorable tea lights that looked just like sand castles to remind them of our beach party. There was so many terrific accessories and beach décor for our reception tables and our wedding table. I not only bought our beach themed wedding cake topper there, but also the cake knife server set, beautiful crystal champagne glasses and lovely wine glasses too.

There were a lot of nice comments made by our guests on how lovely everything looked. To help add to the atmosphere, I also bought some of their beautiful gel candles and placed them on all the tables, along with a few tiki torches here and there. With all the accessories and supplies for the wedding and beach party reception, it made planning so much easier. Everything was like a dream come true, with the beautiful ocean waves and the warm summer sands as our wedding chapel and reception location.

Linen beach dresses with a crocheted halter covering was what I chose for my bridesmaids. My handsome groom wore a sky blue linen shirt and white linen pants and his groomsmen wore white linen shirts with sand colored linen pants. The little ring boy wore a white cotton shirt and khaki shorts, and our flower girl was so cute in a light fabric sundress. All of the wedding party looked great in their wedding attire and the flower arrangements for our bouquets were the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen.

This would of helped in my planning if I would have known about all ideas on the computer. If I were to pick one it would have been the carriage candle and I would have picked one for me also, because they are so adorable looking. My daughter is getting married in two months and I’m helping her to plan the whole thing and she has decided to have a country western ceremony and reception. When she told me her idea for the wedding, I thought oh boy this is going to be one weird wedding, but as we were planning it I saw how awesome it was going to be. I’m giving my best friend a bridal shower and before I even got started I sat down and made a list of all the things I needed to buy for the party. Goal number one was finding a birthday party invitation. Dragging myself from shop to shop hoping to find a good deal or a decent selection isn’t my idea of a good time, so I went searching for supplies online. I hit the jackpot there. I was really surprised to find so much and at such great prices. The price I paid on some things were almost criminal. The bridal shower invitations were really nice with silver writing on the front and pearl embossed borders. It wasn’t a place that specialized in bridal acessories, either; they had basic party invitations and graduation party invitations, too, along with other things.
There were some great little accessories for my shower too, like place card holders for all the little tables I had set up. One of the things I found was a little bridal guest book for everyone to sign and for the bride, to be, to keep a record of every gift she received. There was also a cute idea for a place card holder that I really liked. They had these little plastic handbags that I filled with colorful little candies and found place cards with pink lilies printed on them. When placed on the tables at the shower alongside the gifts and things, they looked cool You should see all the cute litte favor boxes you can get for just about any ocassion you are planning on celebrating. I chose little floral patterned boxes which I stacked on a cake plate in layers and sat on the gift table. It looked very decorative like that and each lady just took a gift from the plate. I picked out a few kinckknacks as awards for winning the bridal shower activities we were going to play, and the thank you presents were sets that had everything you’d need to give a manicure. I got little decorative soaps, purse mirrors, novelty key rings and many other little trinkets that made great prizes.
There were plenty of proposals for bridal shower games on the web as well. There was a real funny one called ‘Take It Off ‘ where everyone puts a paper bag over their heads and then the hostess tells everyone to remove one article, and you’d be surprised how many ladies don’t think to remove the bag. This is really a hysterical game to play. We also played bridal bingo and a couple other funny games. Looking online saved me a ton of money and exposed me to a lot of options I, otherwise, wouldn’t have known anything about. I made out alright purchasing my favors and invitations from them. Not only did I get high quality accessories, but they didn’t cost me half of what I had expected to pay for it all, and there were so many options to choose from. I had to tell the bride to be all about this website I go to, because they have an awesome selection of wedding invitations and favors too, and I thought she should know about it. So, maybe ordering her accessories and reception supplies from here will help her out in the planning and the finances. The bridal shower wouldn’t have been as good without it. The bridal shower was a sensation, and everyone there liked their shower favors, too. The people who took the time to go to the shower will all get thank you cards, which I’m working on now. Naturally, I bought the cards for thank yous over the Intenet as well. Now I have to go back online because I’m helping my friend plan her sons’ birthday party and they have quite a bit to offer there to

I debated a long time before deciding on what type of wedding ceremony and reception I wanted to have. I wasn’t sure if I wanted a beach wedding, a garden wedding or a country western wedding. But I also considered having a traditional wedding. I also thought about a fantastic destination wedding. A destination wedding in Vegas or maybe the gorgeous oceanside in Hawaii sounded awesome. The islands of Hawaii would definitely be my first choice. But I had to give that plan up, too many people wouldn’t be able to travel that far.
There were other ideas too, like a gorgeous winter theme ceremony. But since we were getting married in the summer months, I didn’t think I should go with a snow scene. I wanted a wedding fit for a king and queen, and what better way to do that then with a storybook wedding. There were so many accessories and reception supplies to help with my fantasty wedding. I could feel all eyes on me as I walked down the aisle, and half way expected them to bow to their new queen. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding ceremony. All of the gorgeous décor only added to the beauty of our ceremony. Rose petals were falling all around us as we were leaving the church. We were driven to the reception in a horse drawn carriage, just like royalty.
There were accessories that helped me to make our reception appear as elegant as a king’s castle. I had no problem when it came to the decorations or the wonderful wedding favors I had for our guests. I even found adorable boxes for each and every wedding party favor. I was amazed at all of the themed accessories there were for our fairy tale reception. They had storybook champagne flutes and little coaches for place card holders. They had everything imaginable for a storybook wedding and reception.
Everyone had a fabulous time and I received a lot of compliments on the décor. One of my guests said it was the most beautiful ceremony she’d ever been too. I know I was impressed and it was my wedding. A fairy tale wedding was a great idea, and it really helped to be able to have such fantastic accessories to choose from. I wanted today to be as special for our guests as it was for me and my new husband. I made sure their wedding gift boxes were of a storybook theme, just like our wedding cake and other accessories. I wanted to give our guests more than just favors, that’s why I chose gifts that could also be used as souvenirs. A special something to remind them of sharing this very special ceremony with us.
I had a lot of thank you note to take care of when we got back from our honeymoon. Believe it or not, I was able to get thank you notes with a fairytale theme. Maybe on our 20th anniversary we can do this again.
